As I mentioned before I don’t have a wireless device and would post my experience of bronycon later, well it’s later.

After getting up at an unholy hour my trip began by my mom driving me too the subway station. After a quick trip downtown and a bit of wandering, I got to the convention center around 9 ish. Getting my day pass was a cinch, there was no line, the line to the vendor hall on the other hand. Well I have a picture of that to post later, it sums it up nicely.

Once i finally got into the vendor hall I started to ask if any one was willing to barter, and I got more then a few yes answers. I traded 2 origami ponies, a dragon and rabbit for 4 buttons and I bought a print of twilight reading a book.

After that I headed up to the panel and my first was “Brony psychology.” there were doctors there that were studying the social effects of fandoms and it was unique to say the least.

Between panels, you can guess it, there were more bronies chanting “fun, fun, fun..” just like last year. there were also a few wandering musician and many cosplayers, dressed as every pony and more.

my next event was  Legacy of Harmony, a pony RGP game, apparently it has a tumblr account. When i asked if it was open the DM said that unless someone didn't make it no, I couldn't play. Well lucky for me, someone couldn't make it, and  I was able to play a Pegasus rogue. And ironically enough the youngest person at the table was the most blood thirsty, go figure. After a fun hour I wandered over to the pony merch swap room and traded a origami Pinkie for my final button of the day.

My final panel was Have you heard about the Herd, a brony census. I was very interesting actually. According to the host  more then 17000 took the census and it was in 9 languages in over 30 countries. There  are bronies in every corner of the world from Kazakhstan to yes , and even the host found this hard to believe, Antarctica.

The only was to describe the closing ceremony was pure joy. every person I saw there had a smile on their face, and according to the con official there were 9607 bronies this year (go ahead say it’s over 9000 i’ll wait.) They raised nearly 30000$ for a children’s cancer research fund and the voice actor of Pinkie Pie handed out signed passes from the other cast members who came to the con. All in all it was a great time, and i can’t wait until next year.
